Tom Ansell is a practising visual artist based in the South-West region of Western Australia.
Tom’s practice ranges from capturing the visible objects of interest – of which there are many – to the unperceivable and mysterious, the realm of the imaginary. He works mostly in traditional media, but occasionally likes to explore other realms such as photography and writing.
Currently, Tom is exploring new regions and areas of art while studying a BA: Visual Art Hons. at Edith Cowan University. There, alongside a local public artist and his peers, he is working towards a major public art piece. He hopes to continue exploring different subjects and satisfying that insatiable sense of curiosity and wonder through his art.
